Fun Run on Lake Pend Orielle

**Lake Pend Oreille** is Idaho’s biggest lake, at 43 miles long with 111 miles of shoreline. It’s also the deepest (at 1,158 feet deep, there are only four deeper lakes in the nation). Dug out by Ice Age glaciers and located amid three major frontal ranges of the northern Rocky Mountains, the lake offers an abundance of beauty. This is an event you do not want to miss! Come join us and make memories that will last a lifetime.

What is a Fun Run?

Welcome to our 4th annual event! We are excited to share one of our favorite lakes with you this summer. The Pend Orielle Fun Run is an event where boating enthusiasts will travel the lake visiting restaurants and stores at specified locations to collect cards for a poker hand. Prizes will be awarded for the best hands at dinner following the event.

All proceeds will be donated to the Rayce Rudeen Foundation & 50/50 raffle to Bonner County marine Division

The Rayce Rudeen Foundation’s mission is to help support organizations and programs that encourage a healthy and productive life, free from addiction. Bonner County marine Division is on a mission to educate boat enthusiasts of the rules and safety of Idaho waterways. If you have not taken a course, we highly recommend it. Even the most experienced boater will gain knowledge from the course.

Terms & Conditions

Please remember to bring a copy or screen shot of current boat insurance to pick up your registration packet.

____By submitting registration and payment, I understand that there are NO refunds unless the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances outside event host control.

____I agree that the driver of my vessel will be a minimum of 21years old and will not consume alcoholic beverages or use drugs that may impair judgement during the boating portion of this event.

____I also certify that my boat is insured for public liability and property damage in the amount of $100,000 or more as indicated on the declarations page of my insurance policy.

____I also agree that I and each person on board my vessel will adhere to all federal, state, and local boating laws during the event. I understand the lake has a speed limit of 50mph and 25 mph at dusk and that NO boating west of Dover Bay will take place by my crew on the day of the event. (This is to help with the complaints received by property owners and to help us host this event in subsequent years! Thank you for your strict adherence.)

____In case of rain on Saturday, the run will be shortened and take place on Sunday. The Saturday Dinner will still take place as scheduled and other activities, prizes, may change due to weather and final number of participants.

____ALL additional poker hands will be purchased at the event, $10 each poker hand. All card stops will be open from 11:30am-4pm on Saturday.

____All participants will release event host(s), Legend Performance Marine and affiliates from liability in the case of damage and/or injury sustained by participating in the event.

2025 Schedule of Events:

NEW Friday, July 18 @ 12-4pm Sandbar Hang Out

Come throw your anchor in at the sand bar and relax with us before the run. head to Trestle Creek and we will be at the large sandbar area. (recommended to have an anchor and sand spike to tie off your boat.)

Registration Packet Pick Up:

Friday, July 18 @ Dover Bay Resort 6-7:30pm

Verification of Insurance, Sign terms/Conditions

Packet will include: event program, map of stops, schedule, apparel , dinner tickets, SWAG and 1 poker hand. (additional poker hands available to purchase.)

Driver’s Meeting:

Saturday, July 19 @10am Grass area adjacent to the pool and restaurant of Dover bay Resort. Late arrival Registration packet pick up, Verification of Insurance.
